Introducing the new CarnaudMetalbox Engineering Microdomer. Designed to meet the ever increasing high speed requirements of the DWI Bodymaker, the Microdomer can be installed into all types of Bodymaker
with little or no modification to existing machine configurations. Designed to run at 500 cans per minute, the Microdomer has been extensively tested within our own facility and is now operational in can plants.
Minimum dome depth variation across the speed range 250 - 500cpm and excellent control of dome depth variation at high Bodymaker operating speeds are acheived.
Hold down force has been increased to give 875 Kgf (1900 lbf) at 80 psi, a significant increase over other domers. Low maintenance, only two moving parts, high performance and the added advantage of ease of setting - no need to open the dome door - are all added benefits.
