CarnaudMetalbox (CMb) Engineering designs, develops, manufactures & sells can making
machinery and seaming systems as well as supplying spares for its own machines and other packaging equipment.

Overall responsibility for the implementation of the Health and Safety policy,
and for the management of the Health and Safety of the site lies with the General Manager.

Intent |
|

- CMb Engineering seeks to provide the safest and healthiest possible working environment for
it's employees, and to protect them, visitors and the general public, from injury, nuisance or risk to health from any of
its operations, so far as is reasonably practicable.

Our objective is to: |

- Comply with all applicable legislation, Divisional directives and with any other requirements
and standards to which we subscribe.
- Operate a management system in accordance with the requirements of OHSAS 18001.
- Achieve the highest level of Health & Safety that is reasonably practicable in our Business.
- Provide and maintain plant and systems of work that are, so far as reasonably practicable, safe and
without risk to health.
- Provide information, instruction, training, health programmes and adequate supervision as is necessary
to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety & welfare of all employees.
- Ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the provision of a safe workplace with safe access and egress.
- Ensure the safety and absence of risk to health, so far as reasonably practicable, in connection with
the use, handling, storage, and transportation of articles & substances.
- Be committed to strive for continual improvement in both health and safety management and performance.
This will be achieved through the setting of objectives and targets, which will be reviewed on a regular basis.

- This can only be achieved through management systems that measure, and strive to improve, Health
& Safety performance and with the total co-operation of all employees. It is important to note that The Health & Safety at
Work Act requires all employees to take care of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work,
and to co-operate with their employer as far as is necessary to enable any statutory duty or requirement, relating to health
and safety, to be performed or complied with.

- Documented, implemented, maintained and reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate to the company and our activities.
- Communicated to all persons working under control of the company to ensure they are aware of their individual obligations to Health and Safety.
- Made available to all interested parties on request and on the company website.
