Existing 5000 Bodymaker customers can now take
full advantage of our latest 5000 Bodymaker technology by fitting
our new floating tool pack upgrade.
The CarnaudMetalbox Engineering floating tool
pack centres the dies on 'O' rings, allowing the dies to self align
to the punch during the ironing process.
The dies can also move if they are struck
by the punch on the return stroke which reduces damage, increases
tool life and in turn improves can quality consistency.
